We
can arrange finance on properties in other areas of the world. However
due to legal complications it is not often possible for lenders to
secure the loan against the property.
We have access to lenders who will secure the finance against other
assets such as stocks, shares or pension funds.
The maximum value that can be obtained is usually 80%, but this very
much depends upon where the underlying asset is invested.
To some clients it makes sense to utilise these assets to purchase
property, as the investment would have been originally invested to
access at some time in the future, such as for retirement, and would
therefore not be required for some period of time. The asset will
of course still continue to be invested with the original source.
The asset would then be assigned to the lender for the period of the
loan, and once repaid, reassigned to the client.
This facility is often used by clients wishing to purchase in the
Far East or Eastern Europe. |
