The
purchase of property in the United Kingdom is open to British Nationals,
as well as British Expatriates and Foreign Nationals.
Properties can be purchased either as a main residence for use on
repatriation or alternatively as an investment on a buy to let basis.
Mortgages are available up to 85% of the value of the property or
purchase price, whichever is the lower.
For Investment Mortgages the maximum loan to value available is 80%.
Many lenders allow the purchase of an additional property to be used
for investment purposes, however if you are looking to purchase a
number of properties the market is greatly reduced and specialised
lenders would have to be used.
We have access to a special scheme, which allows investment properties
to be bought without any proof of income. The loan is granted subject
to the rental income achievable from the property. This scheme is
available to Foreign Nationals as well as British Expatriates.
